The students are being trained on the "The technology of producing and processing of the livestock products" speciality at the faculty. The specialists' qualification is "The technologist of producing and processing of the livestock products".
The following scientific degrees can be obtained: Bachelor, Master.
About the Faculty
There are three chairs on the faculty: the chair of stock feeding; the chair of stock biology; the chair of branch-wise zootechnics.
Nowadays stock rising has reached absolutely new qualitative level in the whole world, which needs corresponding reorganization in the system of vocational education.
The great work on cooperation between leading scientific institutions of Ukraine is being done at the faculty in the field mentioned above. New academic disciplines have been established, those, orientated towards the latest achievements of biological and zooengineering science. New "in vitro" embryological laboratories and laboratories of computer modeling of technological processes in stock rising are being organized in the faculty building.
The work upon creating the new scientific and industrial center is being done with the purpose of supplying the academic course with up-to-date information, methodological and practical base. Students have in their disposal a computer-study connected to the Internet. There is a number of scientific hobby groups on the faculty, where students can improve their knowledge and make their first steps in science.
There is a separate hostel for nonresident students and aspirants where they can stay for their training period. The payment is US$15 per month.
Terms of studying
Terms of studying: Bachelor training - 4 years; Master training - 5 years.
